What Aeralis does

Aeralis is a Gmail add-on that writes email drafts and replies for you, powered by Google Gemini. Describe what you want to say and get a complete draft in your compose window.

Why we built it

Email still runs on manual effort. You know the problems:

• Writer's block when starting a new email
• Tone uncertainty -- not sure if the wording fits the situation
• Time pressure — crafting the perfect response takes effort
• Consistency — maintaining your voice across hundreds of emails

Most people spend 30 minutes or more every day writing emails they could describe in a single sentence. Aeralis closes that gap: describe the intent, and the AI handles the drafting so you can focus on the actual work.

How it works

Aeralis runs inside Gmail as a Google Workspace Add-on. No separate app, no browser extension.

Draft generation

Open an email thread, describe what you want to say in a sentence or two, and Aeralis generates a complete reply with the right greeting, structure, and sign-off. The draft lands directly in your Gmail compose window — review it, tweak anything you want, and hit send.

Profiles

Pick from 8 predefined profile templates -- Sales, Support, Executive, and more -- to get started fast. Each profile has its own writing style and tool settings.

Style learning

Forward at least 3 sent emails to your profile's learning address, and Aeralis picks up how you actually write: your greetings, sign-offs, sentence rhythm, and word choices. The more examples you feed it, the less editing you do afterward.

Grounding tools

Connect the AI to real information, available on every plan including Free:

• Context URLs -- reference specific websites or documentation
• Google Search -- pull in up-to-date information automatically
• Google Maps -- add location-aware context
• Knowledge -- search your uploaded documents (Business plan)

Privacy

Your email content is never stored. Aeralis processes your request, generates the draft, and discards the input immediately. Only anonymous usage metrics like token counts are collected. If you choose to leave feedback on a draft, you can optionally share the prompt and output to help improve the model — but that is always opt-in, never automatic.

Getting started

1. Install from the Google Workspace Marketplace
2. Open Gmail and click the Aeralis icon
3. Sign in with your Google account
4. Generate your first email
